On 7 September 2020, the Ministry of Local Development announced a call for COVID – Accommodation, which is another in a series of subsidy programs, this time intended for providers of accommodation services. The program is launched today, i.e. September 11, 2020, applications for support will be accepted via on-line forms by the State Fund of Investment Support.

Providers of accommodation services, whose facilities were closed due to a pandemic in the period from 14 March 2020 to 24 May 2020, can apply for the subsidy. The amount of the subsidy depends on the category and class of the accommodation facility and amounts from CZK 100 to CZK 330 per room and night. The maximum aid CZK 330 per room and night applies to the most luxurious types of accommodation.

Short-term Airbnb leases are excluded from the subsidy program.
